About us

Green Angels is the Land Trust’s bespoke community engagement programme, which offers FREE introductory-level environmental training courses at a number of our sites across the country. It is an exciting opportunity to learn new skills, change your prospects and make a difference in your community.

Training is tailored to what is appropriate on each specific site and courses cover a wide range of subjects, from countryside management, landscaping and wildlife identification to wild well being, horticulture and more. In some locations we also offer regular volunteering activities and sessions such as Wild Yoga and Drumming Circles.

Courses vary in length from one day workshops to six sessions spread over several weeks. Learning is achieved through a combination of theory and hands-on experience, drawing on the individual qualities of each of our sites.

Anyone over the age of 18 years is welcome to apply for a place with Green Angels in your local area, and trainees who complete their course in full will receive a certificate of attendance, which can help with further learning and career development.

Sounds exciting to you. Find your nearest project in our “Where we work” tab or register your interest in the “Register” tab above. We can’t wait to hear from you and to see you start your BLOOMING Future with Green Angels soon!

Yesterday I passed my L1 which I thought would probably be the end of my journey, however the fellowship that I discovered along the way has drawn me into DSW and I can now understand why it had such a influence on my mother's life. I will be joining the Cheshire branch (if they will have me!) and my journey of discovery will continue. I sincerely hope our paths will cross again, or, should I say "our walls meet"
